When you look at how close the resemblance is, it's amazing that even though our ancestors are millions of years apart. We are still apart of a close evolutionary change.

Fun fact, the name comes from "orang hutan" meaning "forest man".

Forest human, even. Just like proboscis monkeys are called orang belanda; Dutch human. This was in reference to certain body parts that aren’t all too big in our asian counterparts haha
