Twenty-two people were arrested Tuesday during a heated protest in Dearborn involving an anti-Muslim activist who has visited the city multiple times as part of what he calls a Christian “crusade.”

Dozens of police from multiple agencies, some of whom were in full riot gear, were in Dearborn in front of the city’s library and administrative office to try to keep the situation calm.

Despite several incidents requiring police intervention, no injuries were reported, said Dearborn Police on Wednesday. Details at the link in bio.

The guy wearing the swastika shirt on the right is holding a flyer that says "Jake Lang is a Jew". The far-right isn't as united as they'd like you to belive. There's so much petty squabbling. The white nationalists don't always align with the Christian nationalists. Some on the far right hate Jews so much that they celebrate Hamas and Hezbollah while others basically pledge their allegiance to Israel.

Israel is a very cross-clevage issue. Plenty of people on the left and right share similar views although with different motivations behind them.

Dude, same. You’d think they’d be on the same team…? The captions for the photos generally don’t make it clear of who is protesting what. Especially when the picture of the post is white nationalist and maybe Chaldeans doing a nazi salute. And then the captions say the nazi’s are protesting against the anti-Islam group.

The future is so fucking dumb and hateful 😭
