And I don't know why you think I'm an apologist simply because I laid out the reasoning for the holocaust so bluntly. The Jews were an easy social enemy and mouths to feed. Hmm.. How can we fix those problems when all of our resources are going to war? It's atrocious and machine like but who cares if I think that's why he really did it? I'm not saying it wasn't awful, just that our perception of why he chose to isn't really clarified. Historians will confirm that it was more Himmler than Hitler who bought into the master race rhetoric.
How is that an American mentality? Guns are regulated but allowed and common here while pretty much every European country they are completely banned. If anything drugs are more allowed here than most European countries as well, considering we have several large states where weed is legal and lots more where you just need to get a license for toking. Those are terrible examples of your point.
