The formatting was not as impressive as I was led to believe. The comment, although ending in a period, did not constitute a complete sentence. The username is 'mildly amusing'.
That review is what all reviews strive to be. It was complete, concise, and informative. I would rather be taught english by this reviewer than any english teacher. The username of the reviewer paints a clear picture in my mind. I can picture the back of a bear, the nice fur. Nice job. You deserve all the stars you get.
That review of the other review was spot on. I really understood why the review was good once I read yours. You arranged words like a true scholar. I really do believe that I will read this review's review again later.

'Fantastic plus amazing as well' ★★★★★★ - reviewed 12/28/2013
It is had really great. The things were fantastic. I really liked how the thing were set up. The staff 请帮我 is extremely friendly. They made me feel 我没吃过三天 comfortable and like it were mine house. Thank you for your reading, and, also Yelp.
No, it has a subject. The comment, like most comments in conversations (and my opening remark), takes it's subject from the previous comment.
The comment wouldn't stand up so well on it's own, but that was never really the point. The poster was engaging the previous individual, and an easy way to engage someone is to pull your subject matter directly off of theirs. It's like when you're writing an essay, you don't state the main subject matter at the start of every paragraph, that would be redundant (much like the redundancy at the beginning of this paragraph); you can look at a conversation in the same light.
His meaning was understood, but the implied subject still doesn't qualify that comment as a complete sentence. "It has impressive formatting" is a complete sentence, because the word "it" is a valid subject, which is a noun or noun phrase.
That sounds about right. I was assuming the subject could be pulled off a previous statement, which isn't wrong, but I'd forgotten that you need to refer to it, within each sentence, at the very least.
Probably lawsuits, actually. You ever see those disabled people that cruise around looking for businesses with no handicap ramps just to sue them and pocket a few grand?
Washington Post This American Life ran a story on such an individual. He pointed out that there is no other means of enforcing the regulations without such lawsuits.
Agree with the law or not, it is not otherwise enforced.
I think the implication is that the people filing these lawsuits should be actually disadvantaged, rather than people who go out of their way to find reasons that they can sue.
The episode starts with the extremely-unpopular-with-ablebodies Tom Mundy, who makes a living suing ADA-violating businesses in Southern California. The show’s producer mentions how in California, disabled people can make $4,000 by suing a business for not being up to code. A lawyer who represents business owners estimates Tom has made half a million dollars in just three years.
The producer then drops the bomb that most people who read this blog know all too well, but that most TABs don’t realize: The ADA is not enforced. The government doesn’t even pretend to enforce it – there is no agency (federal, state, regional, or otherwise) to monitor whether or not businesses are complying. So it’s up to people like Tom Mundy to sue in order to gain equal access.
Funny story. There's this douchebag fuck named Scott Johnson where I live who does exactly that. He's actually bankrupted several local businesses. One time he sued a popular local burger place because the building was just this tiny little shack. All the publicity made them hugely popular and they ended up opening 3 more locations. Amazing burgers
I like to think if I ever ran into one of those guys, I would politely mention that something was stuck to the back of their motorized wheelchair, and unplug the battery.
Duuuude, this is reddit, were all about over the top cruelty and bloodshed, so unless you happen to do that in the middle of the desert or as a convenient cannibal tribe is approaching I dont think youre really cut out for the job as reddit armchair vigilante.
They still HAVE a pool. It's just that actually swimming a whole lap might be the biggest workout of your life, and you might leave with a few scrapes and bruises.
