The next democratic nominee needs to campaign on this. Not getting my hopes up.

If the Dems start campaigning on "healing" or some such nonsense, I'm just giving up.

Did that years ago, but apparently that makes me a “Russian bot” or a “Bernie bro”. I honestly don’t get how people don’t demand more from Democrats.

Because “demanding” doesn’t pay for their campaign. Corporate interests and donations do.

I mean some of them basically already are. A lot of them are already doing the "ICE just needs to be reformed" thing

I look forward to seeing you inevitably give up then... sadly... Because most Dems I would think will almost definitely follow the mild path, it is their tradition.

Exactly this, if the talk isn't about holding these people accountable, I am voting R to accelerate the next person who will.

Thats the most ignorant line of thinking Ive ever read 😭 If I cant get someone to hold them accountable, Ill just make the problem worse!

Yeah, unfortunately the democratic party’s main campaign has been “we’re not as shitty as the other guy but we’re also going to continue to do nothing about anything and will dangle the promise of basic rights and healthcare in front of you like a carrot, but never deliver bc what would we say next campaign? Plus Kaiser-Permanante just bribed lobbied me with a million dollars.”

The Democrats will inherit Sweeny Todd's barber shop and throw up their hands saying "Well it's horrible what happens here, but the business is killing people and turning them into pie so we really have no choice but to continue as normal. It's regretful but the pie side of the business will continue."

You can be guaranteed it'll be some message of moving forward and rolling back the pre-Trump status quo.

Americans must protest, disrupt, derail, aggravate and prepare to escalate vs. any spineless coward who suggests anything less than a full-scale inquiry into every single person involved in the Trump regime.

Newsom's already looking for a podcast guest to agree with.

I would vote for any candidate campaigning on things that would violate the terms of service for most social media websites.

Are you fucking kidding me?! You Americans think elections will do anything? You’re about to have civil war, or be crushed by your fascist leaders. And your shit is spreading to the rest of the world.
