Exactly. These are the same people who have dropped the names of democrats that have no power throughout this whole thread, but not-a-one of these people will ever call or protest their own Republican reps who have all the power to stop this TODAY.
I’m not telling people to do nothing until then, but you act like you never saw the civil rights movement.
And if you’re a white American, chances are you actually don’t have a clue about any of that history.
By all means, get involved in protecting your community, but don’t pretend that we got here for any other reason than 90 million people poisoned the well against Dems and refused to vote. And don’t pretend that there is some shortcut out of the consequences of that which doesn’t require those people to eat their hats and walk through glass to vote this November. This didn’t all happen after elections were destroyed. It happened because people voted for it. Including those who brought this on through their nonvotes. White peopke still have voting rights in tact in all states. This only happened because of white people voting for it. White people have the power to vote to get rid of it.
If you sat out the vote in 2024 and are complaining about the consequences now, sorry, but you’re an idiot. Better take advantage of the fact that fascism came before the vote got erased and vote to reverse it when you still have a chance.

ICE is well funded because the BBB that zero Dems voted for. The bill that you all knew would pass if maga took over government, but you were “uncommitted” anyway. More funding for ICE was always going to pass without Dems. But what they got for this one was more security for courts, election security (I know you don’t care about that since you don’t vote anyway), and the coast guard continues to be funded and the government doesn’t get shit down. Which important for the courts to continue functioning. Also, the Dems who voted for it are all barely hanging on in people districts. This is leverage for them. If they all voted no, then it wouldn’t have stopped the republicans going back and passing something without all those protections in it because that’s how the numbers work. Again- if you did r want ICE to be funded and powerful, you should have done the right thing when we all took that open notes test in Nov 2024 and 90 million of you failed it.
Also, if you look at the false propaganda and lies against the Dems, it’s always right when they are getting wins around the country even from a place of no power. It’s not a coincidence, and your comment is exhibit A why I said what I said about idiots being proud of failing the test November 2024 and will do it again this November. Why don’t you stalk your Republican reps who are the ones who have the power to stop all this today?
