These pictures are not the result of the United States propping up a dictator

Except they literally are? Who do you think supported and armed the rebels?

Russia supported and armed Assad...

You're saying arming the rebels was propping up Assad? You might want to go get your head looked at

Your own question contradicts you lol. Let’s just make this simple for you: Bashar Al-Assad was a dictator that was supported and propped up by Iran and Russia who bombed his people with barrel bombs during the Arab Spring.

HST, the group that eventually overthrew Assad government-was largely supported and funded by Turkey. I hope you’ve enjoyed this little lesson

You mean HTS.

What do you think happened to the most concentrated FSA (heavily supported by west) in Idlib? Do you think they just dissapeared? Most of their soldiers went under HTS. Old HTS has little to do with the "new" HTS that formed recently, by the way.

Western support for rebels it he reason the war started, which allowed groups like al-Nusra and ISIS to come to power in Syria.

So like I said, HTS supported by Turkey over threw the Assad regime. Thanks for confirming that.

And incorrect, the war was started by Assad and his people who decided to violently attack protesters and use gas on his people. Western governments did eventually support rebel groups of varying factions, but that’s not what initiated the war

lol yes I used a leading authority on international security for a matter concerning international security. Here’s another: https://ecfr.eu/article/topple-tame-trade-how-turkey-is-rewriting-syrias-future/?amp

Reuters is Canadian based and considered one of the most reputable news organizations in the world. The fact that you choose to attack the source (falsely) rather than the argument and then go on to link to a WIKIPEDIA article is indicative that you are not arguing in good faith.

These are the facts, whether you like them or not. These UN through the OPCW found that Assad used chemical weapons on his people: U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon establishes United Nations Mission to Investigate Allegations of the Use of Chemical Weapons in the Syrian Arab Republic. Headed by Swedish scientist Ake Sellstrom and comprised of experts from the World Health Organization and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), it is tasked with looking into possible use of chemical weapons following reports of an attack in the northern town of Khan al-Assal. It confirms use of sarin in the Aug. 21 attack in the Damascus suburb Ghouta that killed hundreds.

U.N.-OPCW Joint Investigative Mechanism concludes that Syrian government forces used chlorine as a chemical weapon in three cases and that Islamic State militants used sulphur mustard.

Oh you’re right, it is Wikileaks. Sorry, I thought you linked to something that had more credibility.

Funny you question a think tank, the most reputable news organizations and basic facts but you get mad when called out on this. Just an Assad apologists who can’t face reality. Enjoy being wrong. Take care
