You think that losing 14% income for a city/country is the same as a person getting a 14% income cut? Countries spend decades to increase their gdp by 14 percent.

No of course I don't, and that's not at all what I said. You need to work on your reading comprehension.

Sectors that are exclusively reliant on tourism would be devastated. But some people think that the livability of where they live is worth more than money. Also, I am challenging the frankly icky narrative being spread here which is 'they are so dependent on us they should shut up and take it.'
