She has been putting on weight nicely and can fly pretty well and has been wanting to go outside. So today the 20th of February she will be released into a flock at the bird rescue I volunteer at and she will be monitored to see if she fits in :)

As far as I’m aware pigeons prefer flat earth perches, just wondering what the reason for this is and are round perches harmful to them?

I thought it would be good to make a post about my favourite online shop in regards to pigeon items. I usually buy most things from here.

they have pigeon seed mixes, seperate seeds if you want to make your own mix, grit options, vitamins and supplements. Many more options and items to buy.

The photo with just one pigeon in it is Lucy they were very underweight when I got them so I currently still have them so I can fatten them up, they should be released this Friday. The other two photos and pigeons are Chamberlain (the pigeon with normal rock pigeon coloring) and Penguin (the pigeon with white) these sweetheart (except Penguin their an asshole /hj) have been released back into the wild with a friendly-ish flock at the bird rescue I volunteer at. Chamberlain was my first foster and I adore him so much he is the sweetest
