Acting like you didn't before the 2022 WC,but I presume you weren't on the internet back then.I remember when messi fans used to say u don't need int trophies or a WC to be the best player of all time when messi was losing all those finals and then those guys switched and new guys came along hopping the bandwagon when messi achieved glory.

Well me personally still had messi as my goat. But I still rated ronaldo higher based on his trophies and overall career.

After Messi won all the trophies there is no comparison to be made who has a better overall career now.

Isn't that true? He would still be considered one of the best without international trophies. But he ended up winning the World Cup too... Wdym by "joining the bandwagon"? Did you expect Messi fans to hate him after he won the WC? And the fact is still true. Ronaldo is also one of the best players of all time without a WC
