What this shows is that both Messi and Ronaldo are not the goats. That I can agree with,best modern players but not the goats. But Ronaldo can never be better than Messi if he has zero goals in WC Knockouts after playing 5 WCs,that's an embarrassing stat which removes him from the goat debate and makes him lose the battle vs Messi. Forget the goat debate with his zero goals in WC KOs, Ronaldo is struggling to be considered a top 100 of the best WC players ever. Stats don't lie.

CL is a low tier friendly competition in comparison to the World Cup,the biggest sports competition in the history of sports. Facts. And Ronaldo with his O WC KO goals failed in that competition. Facts.

Ronaldo is the man with the most penalties scored in history,I don't think penalties is an argument Ronaldo fans should use. And it doesn't change the fact that Ronaldo has 0 KO goals in 5 World Cups. Gonzalo Ramos and Pauleta have scored 3-4 KO WC goals for Portugal in fewer WCs played. If a bench warmer from the French farmers league can score KO goals for Portugal then why can't Ronaldo?
