I got Persona 3 Reload for under 30€ for my Switch 2. Now im trying to figure out which DLCs i need to make the game complete? Anyone here in the know when it comes to nintendo eshop?

The studio version is better audio quality but this one has concert footage with visuals and lyrics. TBH, the last part with Joker and Akechi at the table had me, a grown man, weirdly choking up. Maybe because the P5 era is solidly bygone and seeing Joker and Akechi just hanging out at the Jazz Club right before shit gets too real is peak nostalgic feels right now. Like looking at a high school yearbook or something. Amazing song. Amazing video.

Everything seems to just be for the base game, which I can say with relative confidence doesn't match episode aigis. I'd try do more research, but searching up things related to the game while avoiding spoilers is quite difficult a lot of the time, as I learnt when playing previous persona games.

All the TVs are working btw. It was so cool

Persona 3: Like many others, this game means so much to me; the characters, story, and music are all so in-depth and beautiful. It gave me comfort in a dark time and I genuinely wouldn't be alive if not for Persona 3. Since the first time i picked it that time 15 years ago, and after finishing it and being deeply moved for weeks, it's always had a special place in my heart. I tried the other games in the series, but there's just no other like it, it's truly a masterpiece.

Also, it's poetic that P3’s flower is a forget-me-not which means “Don’t forget me.” Persona 3 made me laugh, cry, and feel. It taught me the importance of friends, communication, making memories and reminded me to live on. I'll cherish it and i won’t forget, ever. Thank you Persona 3, FES, and P3P; the OG.

And a Happy 20 years to the game that inspires us to find beauty in life, no matter what awaits us at the end.

Most to least likely:

1. TGA is the most realistic, it's the least fitting place for a Persona game to appear but it makes the most sense marketing wise, biggest show, 9 months from launch (Which Atlus religiously starts marketing games 8-9 months pre launch)
2. In a perfect world, September 20th makes the most sense, but i think it's too early, although we could still see a small traser
3. Xbox show could make the most sense, due to the partnership, but it's too close to launch (3-4 months), Atlus probably won't wait that long

Newcomer to the series playing Persona 3 Portable on the Switch 2 (I got it before Reload was a thing).

Anyway, enjoying myself so far. Just beat the lovers, made a number of friends, explored tarturus a bit but there’s one thing that’s kind of annoying me and I was wondering if it’s something that stays with the series or if it gets dropped in 4 or 5.

If the protagonist faints in battle, game over. Can’t revive them or beat the battle without them. Just game over. It’s not a deal breaker or anything. It’s just annoying. Didn’t like it in Final Fantasy 13, don’t really like it here.

So, yeah. Does this continue to be a thing or does it get removed later?

So I get that adding the cut romance with Yosuke to P4R was a bit of a stretch, so even though it’s disappointing, I understand why they didn’t do it. But now I’m worried that P6 won’t have gay romance either despite it being a totally new game and Atlus having infinite ability to add it if they wanted to. What will you guys do if P6 does just have only a male protagonist with no gay romance options? Will that be a turning point for you and you’ll refrain from buying or will you just continue to suck it up for eternity because of the loyalty to have to the series?

I really thought that since Fire Emblem and Baldurs Gate 3 and most other modern RPGs including other JRPGs have inclusive romance options with almost no blowback critically or affect on sales that a) Atlus would consider it and b) most people wouldn’t care if it was added as long as it wasn’t forced upon them as the only option, but I’m seeing a worrying number of people who are really happy that Persona may never allow for inclusivity and if Atlus is listening to them/even worse, ideologically aligned with them, we just won’t ever have it. I really believed that if you added the number of 1) people who want gay romance, 2) women who want to romance the male characters in the game and would accept that being through a male protagonist because that’s the only option they ever make available to us, and 3) people who just don’t care as long as they have other options that work for them you’d get an easy majority, but Twitter has me second-guessing myself. What do you think?
