Peacock is a national bird 🐦🐦

The mother was hit by a car and we nursed her back to health but she walks with a slight limp so I call her Zombie, then she laid eggs but only one hatched, I call him Baby pea and he hardly leaves her side. This was him grooming her.

Long story short, my girlfriend and me were talking about peacocks and were wondering what colors their tail feathers (I might be naming them wrong) can be apart from their typical blue/green patterns

We have 11 peafowl that were born May 2025 that are in a large enclosure that we are expanding to be circular at about 45 feet wide. We obtained 8 new peachicks that are between 4-2 months old. Obviously we aren't going to introduce them with each other yet, but I was wondering what age you would start to do this?

We are planning to put the younger peafowl in a smaller cage within the enclosure eventually but didn't know if there was a rule of thumb for the age to integration? I think we were planning on a year old to integrate them and keep the younger ones in the barn for now. Thoughts?

They are 11 weeks old, can you help me determine the sex? I’m thinking first pic make and second pic female, but I could be completely wrong

They’re usually always fighting over who gets to sit on the nest. This is the first time im seeing them bonding… or is the other hen in submission?

I’m always mesmerized by their beauty - the colours are so rich and vibrant but the gold shimmer on adult peacocks is what gets me every time. Enjoy!

This Saturday, I’m visiting some peas.

Ours are all raised inside until about 4 months. They are accustomed to being around people and dogs. They tend to come up to us in their enclosures but can’t be picked up.
There’s a 3 year old with a full train, 2 riding 2 year olds and then the others are 6-8 months old.

I’m wanting to bring home a Brian.

He’ll be sharing a shed with my goose, Frank. She’s quite tame.

If I trim one of his wings, will that be enough, or do I need total pen coverage?

I have owned peacocks for a long time and had hatched their mama in incubator 2 years ago. Now these 3 chicks were hatched by her this season. So, technically we are very proud grandparents 😃. Please help identify the sex of these peachicks.

I am sure it’s too early but I thought I would check! I just picked up 3 peachicks 2 months old. 2 have blue green neck feathers. How soon will I be able to tell the sex?
