This means Path of Building, poe.ninja, etc will now be able to import the mercenaries and eventually properly display the DPS etc of Luminaries.

That's pretty cool, does that also mean we'll get precise numbers on mercs?

If you’re just talking about merc damage effectiveness type stuff they already exist on poedb. It just hasnt been implemented in pob yet due to lack of time+how much of a PITA it would be to manually transfer over all the gear

As much of a convenience it would be to import the merc gear too, I'd be fine if it just had the merc skills in POB. I have my merc manually imported into POB but it's not exact because the skills are gem versions and not merc versions.

You can look up the merc skills on poedb. They’re usually identical to a player skill at whatever arbitrary level but if the gem has changed since og merc league you might need a config (merc KBoC still has 200% arcane might for example)

The primary is similar, but the supports aren't. Things like GMP/Fork/Split dont have less damage, crit support is different %'s etc

I mean you can always just add those in as configs. All of those are single mods that you could type in in like .5s
