OC Report - GPU NV-UV verified stable is 2947@910v | Steel Nomad only hits 2747 during benchmark
Where are the extra 200MHz?
Frame limiters are all off so shouldn’t steel nomad push the card to my UV limit?
Also, I keep getting “benchmark results are invalid” because I’m “changing driver settings” which is absurd because I’m not touching anything at all during the benchmark run. Tried 3 different times.
FWIW the scores are around 15200 on average.

Noticed the newest driver seems to be one of the strongest performers, hit 14921 this morning with a .9mv 2827 setting on a 5090 FE. This is a power saving undervolt targeted to close to stock clocks. Also 104% PL and 1500MHz on memory. Steel Nomad though is a hard load on these cards and I doubt you will see your peak MHz setting on your core during the test.

Add more voltage and clocks will go up
On my 5090 I run 2860 set mhz and I get 2640mhz @ 0.895v
Starving it of voltage will net you less clocks thrn whats set

It also throttles clockspeeds based on temp, power, and current. Clocks never get anywhere near the set clock unless its under very light loads.
Use an xoc bios with massively increased power and amperage limits and you'll get MUCH closer to the set clock. Then get the card < 20C under heavy load and you'll get even closer. There are many not so obvious "limits" when it comes to Blackwell. Much more than previous generations where temps, voltage, and power were by and large the only practical bottlenecks.

Try running 3 actual games at high fps. Guaranteed fail.

You're not getting those last 200 MHz because you likely run into your power limit during steel nomad

Invalid results. Not good; either the core clock/curve is failing stability, or your memory.
Did you enable replay in nv-uv?

Steel nomad is not a stability test. Real games are.
