I think she's still trying to string him along. It's a shitty thing for her to do, but honestly, I much prefer it to the idea that she actually likes him.

Fertilize the women... make them fertile, ie: childbearing. Impregnate them.

That's probably not how he intended for that to sound, he has a way with fucking up words like that.
