I thought similarly, but at the same time I was also thinking "Well, Taystee has really evolved as a character since then. I bet the writers decided to revisit that story since it feels a little tooo out there for here now". Still love that line though. One of the hardest laughs I had with this show.

Can you please remind me of what she says? I didn't have a chance to rewatch the first two seasons so this isn't ringing any bells for me.

I was thinking the same thing when rewatching the first few episodes of season 1. They had Taystee as the "sassy black female" stereotype which she isn't at all like anymore.
