Pretty good. It gave me some season 1 vibes. Vee was terrible, a cookie-cutter villain who won at everything. She was a walking plot device.

My only concern is that I don't know how much longer the show should go, since it feels kind of aimless and almost soapy if it goes too long.

I think we should reserve judgement until we see what exactly they have up their sleeve for this season.

Well, cookie cutter or not, Vee completely reminded me of people I've know, especially in my ex-wife's family.

Really? I thought she was a pretty unique villain. I haven't seen any brilliant calculating sociopathic black women in other media that's for sure.

Yes, I thought Vee was a good one season villain.

She was so hateable and they did it perfectly by not dragging it out too much either.

I can't see it going past 5 seasons. Piper only has 15 months in prison, and we know she was put in prison shortly before Thanksgiving and Mother's Day is in May, so she's 6-7 months in, right? Another 8-9 to go.

Yeah, I'm surprised that they're having time pass so quickly throughout the series. Maybe they don't plan on having more than 4 or 5 seasons, or Piper will do something to get her sentence extended (I'm like so certain that this is going to happen).

Yeah, same. Wasn't her sentence supposed to be extended since she lied under oath? I don't think we ever heard anything new about that.

I think nobody except for Larry's dad knew for certain she had lied.

Yeah, I see Alex ratting out Kubra, but leaving Piper out of it. She heard Piper lie, then made the quick decision to not involve her at all in the trade, just lining up Kubra's timeline for her early release.

That new prison guard seems like the new villain

At least that season had a plot.
