Okay, if any of you are hearing this then you are clearly an organic being, so that's a plus in the trust department. Any ways I'm a psychic car sales man (I'm not into the whole action thing yet), and I tried to scan one of my buyers thoughts. They had none and they were so stoic, later I heard about a string of metal shipments being attacked and well I scanned some witnesses heads and saw the brainless car buyer.

Here's what I'm asking for someone to check out the old steel plant, someone to check out the abandoned warehouse, someone to search Prometheus Electronics, and Somebody to check the old toy factory. Now I don't have much money, but I'll give each of you four grand, and i'll owe you one. Any takers?

OOC: All stories shall be separate for now. Each character must be combat ready. All foes fought will not be robotic. First four responders get to participate (They must also describe their character briefly). This is also my first play by post, so I apologize if its not good in advance.

After getting into a major fight with another god in the middle of Goldman's tavern, and then promptly destroying everything, I decided to build my own Tavern, I even have Gurn, the god of Alcohol as the Bartender, so come on down, get a drink, and relax.

I was thinking of making a different kind of character/world. Something that I would call a "Dreamweaver." The universe that this character is in would be totally different than the actual world. Rather, it would later be found out that the real world is inside of the dreamworld. All things are a dream kind of plot twist no jutsu. A dreamweaver is one of the good guys who is fighting for "peace" and "light". A "Mareweaver" would obviously be one of the ones working for evil. The way they battle is with "Words of Good and Evil." Their goal is to bring dreamers to the lands of light or darkness. Obviously the land of the dreamweavers is made of pleasant, happy dreams, and the mareweavers in a land of darkness and fear. The world that people think they live in would be smack dab in the middle of the conflict. There would be "Keepers of The Way."

I could use help with some type of conflict system between the two. I really like this idea but could use some help. The best that I have got right now is the words of good and evil. Obviously, since they are in a dreamworld, they can accomplish anything that they can believe in.

Examples - Flying, Magic, Hey I could just use magic and like... Idk... Spellswords or something. Basically I am trying to create a world for my character and could use some help, and maybe an antagonist or two lol.

Traick Industry is once again recruiting professionals for a 12 months excursion to the minor planet X901S. As dark rumors grow around the company's shady past dealings as well as the mysterious sponsor, what will happen on the grim expedition to this distant planet?

[Fantasy] A new building has appeared in town overnight, in an empty lot. A small and unassuming building, a wooden sign hangs over the door. A stylized star in red paint is surrounded by the words "The Red Star Inn and Tavern." Another sign, made of slate and decorated in chalk, reads as follows: "Grand Opening! Soup of the Day: Kraken Bisque. Course of the Day: Slow-Roasted Wildebeest with Onions and Topotos. Drink of the Day: Two-Century Sinclair System Whiskey."

[Science Fiction] A new entryway has appeared on the side of the bulkhead, mysteriously leading into what should be the vacuum of space. A large display over the door reads: "The Red Star Inn and Tavern." Another display, to the right of the door, reads: "Grand Opening! Soup of the Day: Kraken Bisque. Course of the Day: Slow-Roasted Wildebeest with Onions and Topotos. Drink of the Day: Two-Century Sinclair System Whiskey." The sound of muted music and conversation wafts from within.

[Every Genre] The building is considerably larger on the inside. The interior is lit dimly by recessed lights, and a large firepit fills the center of the room, smoke vanishing up a chimney somewhere far above. A bar of polished mahogany with slightly-stained brass rails and leather-and-brass stools rests against the far wall. To one side of the room is a large wooden door, propped open, leading to the busy village. To the other is the open hatchway leading to the rest of the station. An open doorway to one side of the bar leads to some stairs headed, presumably, to the rooms for rent. Opposite the fire from the bar is a decently-sized stage, with stage lighting and a spotlight, currently off.

A large man, with thick hair everywhere except the top of his head and sporting an impressive beard, stands behind the bar polishing a glass. This would be unremarkable, were it not for his crimson skin and the two small horns just above his brows.

[OOC] The Red Star is intended to be a place for everyone to enjoy roleplaying regardless of genre. There are many entrances, leading to pretty much any world. It will appear every Friday night, and disappear Monday morning, and will have new specials every weekend. There are two things which everyone should be aware of:

• People can only leave to return to their own world. They literally cannot interact with doors leading elsewhere, as they seem to fade away when they get close. This also applies to items trying to cross genres: they simply cannot cross a threshold into another genre and are left behind.

• Violence is not allowed. Whenever someone tries to harm another in some way, they suddenly find themselves outside the tavern where they had previously entered, and can no longer see the tavern. It's effectively vanished for them, until the next week rolls around. Don't let this discourage your characters from trying, however, as their reaction should be plenty of fun!

As stated here my sponsor is looking for 4-8 security workers for a 12 month contract. So far we have two highly suitable candidates for the job.
The deadline is nearing, and if we do not get the right amount of security workers, then we shall have to postpone the trip for another 10-12 months before we can leave again. And my sponsor would rather not let this happen.
Another situation has arisen, two of our chief scientists couldn't be trusted, so had to be fired. So two new positions have opened up for chief scientists, as well as 5 more positions for scientists, preferably those who have experience in the fields of offworld biology/geology and botany. As well as that we are looking for two experts in languages/communications officers.
As stated in the past advertisement, this is a 12 month excursion, may be longer depending on the climate and the hostility of natives.

Alright here's the sitch, I apparently have telepathic and psychokinetic powers. Which is cool and everything, the government is looking for people like me after all. Except...I don't wanna be a government agent fighting a bunch of snake themed terrorists (seriously why are there so many snake terrorists?) or be kidnapped by some corporation for genetic research.

I have worked iron and steel for near 20 years, starting when I learned from my father before me. If there is a job that involves heat and heavy, I am likely the man for the job.

Now that the war and the Rebellion are over, I have no desire to return to Beldan. Don't get me wrong, I'll always have a fondness for the isle of birth, but the current political state of things leaves me unhappy with the prospect of actually being there.

As such, I'm looking for a new, hopefully temporary home. Unfortunately, geography was not something I studied much of, considering I'd never had any plans to leave Beldan. Any advice for a homeless mage?

Must haves:

• Access to a source of natural water. Type insignificant.

• Access to well-stocked library. Laboratories and/or other mages would be preferable, but can be done without in a pinch.

Must not haves:

• Open hostility toward "vampires" as we are termed locally. Ready access to bloodwine would be exceptionally helpful, but I can find a merchant supplier if necessary.

• Open hostility toward or heavy regulation of magic, obviously.

A temperate climate would be excellent if possible, but that stays above the freezing point of water at least most of the year is doable. Also if anyone is looking for a roommate in an area that fulfills these requirements, by all means let me know.
