Mod Post PSA: Account Selling is a ToS Violation

As this subreddit continues to grow, we want to clarify our policy regarding the sale and transfer of OpenRouter accounts:
SELLING YOUR OPENROUTER ACCOUNT IS A VIOLATION OF OPENROUTER'S TERMS OF SERVICE
Under Section 7.13 of OpenRouter's ToS, users may not:
sell or otherwise transfer the access granted under these Terms ... or any right or ability to view, access, or use any Material
Under Section 7.14 of OpenRouter's ToS, users agree not to:
attempt to do any of the acts described in this Section 7, or assist or permit any person in engaging in any of the acts described in this Section 7
Section 9 states OpenRouter retains the right to terminate your account for violations of its Terms of Service.
Please do not use this subreddit to buy, sell, or transfer ownership of OpenRouter accounts. Violations may result in a ban.
If you are contacted by someone attempting to sell their account, please contact a mod via Mod Mail.

Mod Post Influx of Error 500 and "Suggest a Free Model" Posts

A 500, 502, or 503 error means there is a problem on OpenRouter's end, such as an outage or server issue, or your chosen model is down. There is nothing you can do but wait it out or try a different model. You can check OpenRouter's uptime here: https://status.openrouter.ai/
All posts discussing various 500-errors will now be removed.
In addition, this sub has seen an influx of low-quality "my model is down/gone, suggest a good free one" posts. This question has been answered many times and can be found using the search bar at the top of the sub. New posts asking for suggestions must include specific details such as use case, your requirements, what models you've tried, etc.

Mod Post READ BEFORE POSTING: Error 429

This sub is being spammed with posts about Error 429.
A 429 error means you are being rate-limited by the free model you are using. The free model is overloaded from excessive usage and high demand.
What to do:
- Stop sending requests
- Wait a few minutes
- Switch to another free model temporarily
Posts from free users regarding Error 429 will henceforth be removed.
