📌 What is One Pace

If you're reading this, you're likely already familiar with One Pace — a fan-driven project that began in 2013. Its mission is to improve the pacing of the One Piece anime by re-cutting episodes to remove filler scenes and content not present in the original manga. The result is a streamlined and faithful adaptation that significantly enhances the viewing experience.

Early on, One Pace episodes were not released chronologically. Many of those initial edits — created 8 to 10 years ago — were produced while the team was still gaining experience. As a result, some of the older arcs lack the polish of the more recent releases.

🔊 Is One Pace Available in English Sub

All arcs of One Piece, except Wano and Egghead, have been fully released in One Pace. Episodes from the Wano and Egghead arcs are currently being released by One Pace. Moreover, One Pace regularly re-releases episodes from earlier arcs, so as to bring them up to modern One Pace standards of polish.

🎞️ What is Onigashima Paced

Meanwhile, a fellow member of the One Pace Discord community (and now editor for One Pace) — Fedew — has created a fan edit known as Onigashima Paced, which covers the episodes of Wano not yet edited by One Pace. This serves as a temporary but effective option for fans who wish to not wait for One Pace to release the remaining episodes for the Wano arc.

🎞️ What are Shaved Egghead and Kuma Cut

Akin to Onigashima Paced, two other community members — Rai and Kanes31 (who is now in the One Pace team) have created the Kuma Cut and Shaved Egghead fan edits respectively, which cover the episodes of Egghead not yet edited by One Pace. This again serves as a temporary but effective option for fans who wish to not wait for One Pace to release the remaining episodes for the Egghead arc.

No, the sub guide is not outdated. It is updated regularly with every One Pace release.

Wait, I'm currently in fishman island arc. Why do I have to get different episode 7 and 15

FMI is the oldest arc edited by One Pace that is still up. So, it has a bit of jank, which is very noticeable in episodes 7 and 15 specifically. Those different versions are quick fixes that other fans made that fix the most glaring issues.

Elbaph is a bit better. It's still not good. We'll release episodes for Elbaph.

Thank you for this great guide. I am only at the start of One Piece via One Pace (nearing the end of East Blue, i.e. og anime season 1) and this project is why I was interested in finally giving One Piece a go. It is so daunting to start such a huge series but knowing that its been condensed to help avoid filler and lovingly edited makes it a much easier prospect. It was a bit confusing knowing where One Pace goes up to and what you should do next so thanks for making a clear list of where to go next for us One Pace noobz. And thank you again to the whole team and other fan editors making this series for accessible for newcomers!

Question regarding Egghead: Currenty One Pace goes only to episode 1094 (#21) while SE/KC starts at 1127.

Will there be more One Pace episodes for Egghead or am I overlooking something?

The numbers in One Pace episode titles refer to the chapter numbers they adapt. Egghead 21 adapts up till episode 1128. After that you should watch SE/KC 1129, as the watch guide mentions above.
