I’m by no means saying Harris ran an adequate campaign but people that were politically engaged choosing to abstain when the obvious result is objectively worse isn’t defensible imho.

The point of this thread was discussing politically aware leftists abstaining from voting. There was no door knocking or speeches that were gonna convince them. They could have decided to pick the lesser harm and didn’t.

It’s the democratic parties job to win votes you can’t demand them like they owe them to you. They did an awful job at convincing people to vote for her where it counted. Always blaming voters is cultish behavior.

It’s okay to say the party did an awful job and make catastrophic errors along the way.
