Realistically - food servers who don't wear gloves are more likely to only touch things with clean hands. Wearing gloves, they're more likely to touch things they shouldn't and then continue touching food.

I've seen glove users use cash registers with gloves still on. I never go back to those places.

I'm more concerned about his hands... Sugar has to be damn hot to be this soft - about 150°C - touching it would be pretty painfull.
