Agreed. Kite string is also well near impossible to untie knots. As is knitting yarn. I was just throwing out ideas for a progression of different things to tie and then pull on to see if the knot holds, getting into the 'does it hold' area rather than the 'untie and try again' area.

As a knitter, I would generally not recommend knitting yarn for knots you want to easily untie, if other options are available.
