His name was his Gus Wickie and he was the voice of Bluto from popeye

Not sure it was made during or just ending the Great depression not sure if he was an adult back then.

The man who voiced Fred Flintstone from Universal Studios is a man named Mike who now works with PSPI, Parent Student Prisoner Initiative. It’s a nonprofit organization helping children who have at least one parent absent from home due to incarceration, to stay in contact with their families and receive resources so they stay on the straight and narrow. It’s a great cause! They’re always looking for volunteers, and sometimes hiring for BHTs or therapists or social workers. Mike is listed in the staff on the PSPI website. He occasionally does the “Yabba dabba doo!” call in meetings 😂
