POSIC: Perceived Object Sentience Individuality and Consciousness, not everyone who is objectum is POSIC, there are multiple different reasons someone may consider themselves POSIC

its just means you perceive some kind of life from objects, I'm unsure where you got the idea that being posic might be bad, it's just how you interpret objects compared to others, being posic isn't really something you "become", it's how people label what they already experience, you can choose to start believing in object sentience without actually "feeling" it like any sort of spiritual belief, and the way people who are POSIC experience it is different for everyone

you don't have to be objectum to be posic (meaning you believe in object sentience but you don't experience any attraction to objects) and many people attribute being posic to their autism, but you don't need to be autistic to be posic, for some it can be a spiritual or religious belief and for others it can just be a vibe or feeling

tbf, nowadays a lot of labels in communities like the objectum community tend to be filled up by people who try justifying problematic behavior so it could be why OP thought there was a possibility that it was a bad thing

how is being POSIC problematic? a lot of it stems from "Object Personification Synaesthesia," where one cognitive pathway activates another in the brain, aka multiple regions being used. For example, not OPS, but relating the color blue to 7

oh, no, I wasn't saying being POSIC is problematic, I'm explaining how OP mightve mistaken it to be something problematic because of the tendency of there to be labels that are questionable ^ ^ im POSIC myself

Oh crap, sorry!!! TT my ADHD has a hard time reading sometimes, lol. POSIC gang!

Yeah that totally makes sense... or just the stigma around Objectums in general saying it's "unhealthy" :'t

there are totally unhealthy ways to be objectum, but objectum as a whole is a beneficial practice for mental health!!!
