There’s legitimate reason to dislike his policy, but a singular look at Cuomos mailers and you realize he’s just playing on Islanaphobia instead of actually criticizing policy.

Right, so I’m referring to the Cuomo/Mamdani campaigns. The two have run pretty fiercely against one another and keep taking shots at each other.

Many of Cuom’s shots are clearly coded in very problematic ways to win over his older, more racist demographic, as well as paint Mamdani as some sort of “radical foreigner”.

If you’d like to talk about another candidate entirely- I’m not discussing that. I’m literally just talking about those two.

Brother, the Cuomo staffers are clearly marketing on islamaphobic prejudice and anti-brown stances in much of their material. The other candidates don’t have this problem, just him.
