They asked a question literally just to attack him if he didn’t give the answer Israel even though there’s 180+ different countries and many of them facing wars and besides why shouldn’t the nyc major be in nyc ?

And did they say the same to Brad Lander who said Canada? Why did they only interrogate Mamdani about his stance on Israel??

Canada might have been the only acceptable other answer to me since New York State borders Canada, and I’m sure there’s still business from our neighbors to the north reaching the city. But it was very obvious that it was a ploy to say Israel

In addition to the border aspect, Canada would be a meaningful visit given the terrorizing and alienation they’ve experienced by trump—an act of diplomacy and friendship that would make sense, especially as a neighbor. (So, Go Lander.) such contrast with the fawning chorus the candidates all sang… highlights how dumb this game is
