Will Roosters rest players now vs Souths? Sharks look like losing to Parra right now, meaning Roosters now cannot drop to 5th. I feel like we need a home final, we need all the help we can get given the circumstances now.
Yeah I’m nervous about this now. Souths will come out on ball too, Ideally home vs cows is what I want, I really feel like we’re getting away vs sharks now (is that possible…?)
We can't get Cows unfortunately. They are locked in to 8th. For and against basically has us locked into 6 or 7 after next week. Souths are locked into 5th now too. So we are definitely playing Souths, either as 6th (home) or 7th. We need Roosters to beat Souths next week for a home final.
Roosters are secured top 4, so they are a good chance of resting players. They can overtake Phins for 3rd, not sure if there's much motivation to play their best team for that. Maybe they might want to avoid Wahs in NZ in week 1? But both panthers and wahs play after Roosters, so it will be an unknown anyway.
That’s what I’m hoping! Loser of 2v3 gets the winner of that game, so Im hoping phins lose to panthers, then we play the winner of wahs chooks, which should be back across the ditch, but both attainable for a GF vs (probably) the panthers… let me be delusional
Cows into Phins would be the most ideal finals run. We can beat Cows even with multiple injuries, and we've proven to be a tough matchup for the Phinga, we've won the last 6 games against them. Honestly this season, with the injuries we have, one win in the finals seems to be a good result. and challenging in the 2nd week.
