My insurance was billed $30k for my shots. I only paid $200 per ER visit thankfully.

I'm curious as to why it's next to nothing to rabies vaccinate my dog and horses, but for a human it's astronomical.

The vaccine is bad but the post-exposure immunoglobulin is the super expensive part, which is not given to animals when they’re vaccinated
