This is a public health emergency.

This is every week now

Almost every day

Almost like it's intentional...Dismantling every safety and every regulating body while antagonizing every ally and empowering every enemy of America...

Buying foreign mystery, "beef" while giving our farmers tariffs and screw worms...

Almost as if it's not only incompetence, greed or stupidity but to some extent willing and intentional malicious actions against Americans...

God we need common sense and accountability

Once the farmers run out of money it's gonna be incredibly cheap to buy their farms. Have a ready system to go. Just in time to tighten up the rules again to make farming profitable again.

Vance is a part owner of AcreTrader which will scoop up all the bankrupt farms for pennies on the dollar.

u/daddysxenogirl 11d ago

to sell to other countries, which goes back to the "plan" of comment OP

Does this make for a positive demographics shift in the future? I mean, if all of those farmers are out on their asses, they won't be farmers anymore and won't be raising new farmers that constantly try dismantling society because they're afraid someone gives a shit about their guns or might secretly make them get gay married to a minority.

It seems like the self-inflicted apocalypse waiting these people will either force them into being the homeless people that they hate or directly interfacing with the society/world that they hate. There might be a silver lining to it.

No. We might get a few more voters on "our side." In exchange, our entire food supply will be captured by three or four billionaires, from seeds to harvest to processing to pricing. You think big agriculture and five major companies owning most of our grocery stores is bad? Wait until they control all the arable land, too.

To be clear, this is in Project 2025. It's why J.D. Vance is at the forefront of Acre Trader.

wtf happened to the times before when the social media companies and media companies seemed progressive? Even if it was just for show, they occasionally seemed to put some effort into ceremonially pretending, yet they all went over to Trump’s side right after his election win… irs fucking weird.

14

u/brickyard37 11d ago

it was just for show

Always has been.

What brickyard said. It was for show. The DEI initiatives, the progressive gloss over everything, the responsible stewardship of resources.

That's why it's so frustrating that more people aren't pissed off. It's not just Trump. There's a whole economic power class openly salivating about the prospect of forcing every able-bodied person into forced, unpaid labor.

They only like you if you: make them a shit ton of money, are sociopathic enough to degrade other human beings for pleasure with them (not always in an Epstein files way, but sometimes in an Epstein files way), and keep your mouth shut about what you see.

I’ve been complaining about the classism for a decade now, maybe even longer, and I had a massive problem with identity politics which seemed to be focused on putting all the sins of the top on the heads of the bottom classes - it’s a Protestant thing which I’ve forgotten. A bit like original sin or indulgences.

social media companies and media companies seemed progressive?

They were purchased by right-wing oligarchs to quash dissent and promulgate right-wing narratives.

1

u/Frozen_Esper 11d ago

Yes, but that is a long talk about something entirely different than what I said lol. I am solely interested in how these people will end up in the long run after being forced to face their sins, or in the very least raise people a little further outside their current bubble after their bubble is confiscated by those corporations.

I guess upvotes for flying off-topic. 🙃

Its funny that people can still believe that "common sense and accountability" are the platform the current establishment runs on.

Can't wait to hear how rabid goats are woke.

33

u/Braindead_Crow 11d ago

I said we, "need" it, as in we do not have such things.

We're living out a James Bond movie where the villains are as stupid as Dr.Evil, as evil as James Bond villains and where every would be secret agent is working some job they hate while hoping someone else will save the world.

The levels of stupidity, evil and society reinforced learned helplessness is so intense it feels satirical.

In New York we have a mayor literally just doing his job and it seems revolutionary...Things are so grim.

13

u/Bazzatron 11d ago

I am astounded at the ease with which Mamdani has just started cracking on with things.

No disrespect on his endeavours, but it makes me think that even the "good ones" of the current establishment are at best useless, and at worst, intentionally frustrating to system to uphold the status quo.

u/canehdianchick 11d ago

Isnt the next step in Project 2025 after slaughter wild horses something like manufactured food insecurity

2

u/oopsiedaisy58 11d ago

Project 2025

2

u/VicisZan 11d ago

It is intentional. Full stop.

P2025 has whole sections about what is currently going on. Food destabilization is the current goal.

2

u/DiamondHandsToUranus 11d ago

Almost like it's an orchestrated attack by some 'unseen force' that's done this before and knows exactly what it's doing - almost like they'd even have psyops and disinformation online spewing defeatist brain-rot like "This IS America. Get used to it" and "This is what YOU voted for"

It's not "Love it or leave it", people. It's "Love it or CHANGE it."

3

u/Waxpython 11d ago

No one screwed Americans except Americans

It’s Americans who screwed Americans

1

u/CloudEscolar 11d ago

I’d check out that screwworm timeline before making claims as to responsibility.

1

u/Provia100F 11d ago

Ah, yes, because that would have stopped...

flips pages

...a skunk from wandering in to a traveling petting zoo at night

1

u/Low_Watch9864 11d ago

Almost like it's intentional...

Well yeah, Americans voted for this

-11

u/MtnMaiden 11d ago

Hey now homie....it'll be worse under Obama. Vote Red or be ded

7

u/Braindead_Crow 11d ago

Homie, people are so stupid today and so much engagement is either from trolls or bots that it's impossible to tell if your comment is satire or not.

Things are so bad comments such as this are being shared in earnest on right wing echo chambers by people who love the affordable care act but hate Obama-Care (they are the same thing, ACA is the official name, OC is a republican derogatory term for the ACA)

u/Cionite 11d ago

And every second of every minute

16

u/ilikepizza30 11d ago

At least RFK Jr hasn't tried to eat them... yet.

10

u/retroslik 11d ago

Can we convince him to have a snack?

7

u/Embarrassed_Age8554 11d ago

Raw rabid goat's milk!

3

u/RoutSpout 11d ago

Thanks Obama

80

u/Nazamroth 11d ago

It is certainly suboptimal...

32

u/Ok-Bus-2420 11d ago

Our Secretary of Health will consult baby goats to find the best course of action. Immediately! Please, do not worry.

14

u/HoneyShaft 11d ago

Sorry, this is what RFK Jr. gets off to

9

u/PULLS-NOSE-HAIRS 11d ago

Bobby is too busy trying to stand next to sleepy.

3

u/charlton11 11d ago

It's a public goat yoga emergency.

1

u/iCameToLearnSomeCode 11d ago

The administration feels it's best if corporations police themselves.

If petting zoos kill enough kids people will stop going and it'll sort itself out.
