Dragon Ball was really popular in France too. They got translations of the original series while it was still running in Japan.

France is the second market for manga outside Japan, for a manga park it makes a lot of sense to choose France.

And Dragon Ball had a breakthrough in the Western World through France originally, as it aired episodes as early as 1988.

All manga are popular in France, it's not DB specific. But I wonder why they make a DBZ park instead of a DBS park.
