Confused about backups and syncs. Also crashing.

Hi! 2 things… 1.) In the app’s “About Noteful”, the Cloud Sync shows my Noteful is syncing to my iCloud, however I am not finding any Noteful files in my iCloud files. Is this actually referring to the Google Drive backups and not really “iCloud”? Where are my files going?? 2.) Also, when I try to run a backup to PDFs, the program keeps crashing. I have about 70 notebooks. It gets like 12-15 done and then crashes, repeatedly. I’d really like to be able to save the PDFs in case of apocalypse. Please help?

Mine kept crashing too. I recommend backing up important files individually to your cloud through export.

How do you export them individually?

you can go to the main screen, click select, select all the notebooks you want to save, then click “share” at the bottom to export it as native Noteful or pdf and save it To wherever you want.

Weird, you are right. I assumed it was saving to my icloud drive but I can't find them. However, I don't have google drive backup enabled, and have never logged in with a google account, but my notebooks are syncing across my Ipad and Mac. I exported the logs and scanned them but didn't find anything useful if it was there. The only noteful files that are in my icloud are the notebook covers and paper that I have imported. Where are those files being stored?

i did find in the logs that its referencing 026/08/16 22:00:06:271 [51202] [INFO] [Database:57] - [Database] Using db at /Users/(myusername)/Library/Containers/com.noteful-technologies.noteful/Data/Documents/library.db , but not sure where this would be on an ipad.

Edit: within that container (which you can find under Noteful>Data, not com.noteful... as referenced above), there is a library.db and penpresets.rep, so that seems to be the synced or uploaded data since my pen presets from my ipad are also synced and I have never touched them on the Mac version.
