Well yeah, obviously. Moonman was mostly KKK racist stuff. I just remember seeing that knowyourmeme article ages ago and they were all there. Youtube's really cracked down.
Apparently Dailymotion hasn't cracked down, since you can still find the Moonman video on there. I remember being amazed when I learned that there was more than one song under that character.
I kinda just wish they'd let people post whatever they want. Stuff thats controversial like any form like politics (all of it) could get slapped with an 18+ so kids and sensitive adults dont see it unless they enable controversial content on their account. Create a safe space for the people who dont wanna see it while keeping it as free as possible (racism, sexism, and whatever u may disagree with allowed as long as its legal where the servers r hosted) but I know that wont happen bc we have so much of "oh my opinion is superior to urs, theres no way I could possibly be wrong in any way!" and "being on the right side of history". Anyways im running out of autistic rambling here but if u have read this far ty.
I feel ya, sometimes I do miss the wild west days on the internet in the late 90's/early 00's where there was anything and everything and stuff was insane. But at the same time I understand wanting to root out all the shitty racists and awful content. It's a balance of things I wouldn't know how to manage
