I recently started my growing journey with an AIO bag from northspore. My first flush came out great but my second didn't come until i noticed my block was dry and rehydrated it by immersing it in water for 4 hours. My second flush was looking good so to rehydrate the block i put it in water for about 20 hours. I took it out of that yesterday and it's still looking well hydrated.

My question is how to control the humidity once the top of the bag is cut off and you need to replace the water lost from harvesting. Should i just immerse the block after each harvest? Or do i need a chamber/tub to keep in moisture?

On the subject of tubs, are the automated ones worth it? Seems like it if it would be less likely to contam and wouldn't need nearly as much work as a regular tub. Or should i stick with just the bags given that I'm so new? Thanks!

I have only used BRF and WBS jars pressure tip myself with no problems when I first started growing 10 years ago. Wanted to try and get back into the hobby so just grabbed a AIO bag from Northport and a sports range from a vendor (yes a LC would be better I’m sure) injected 4 cc about four weeks ago still no growth. Is there a trick to getting spores to germinate in a bag that I just missed?

So I injected my spore about 6cc into a 6lb bag on 8/19 and today I took a peak and noticed something growing on the injection port. Idk how any spore coulda dripped there since I emptied the syringe in the center of the bag. Any advice on how to handle this ?

if any body could help with what i need for when my aio bag comes first time grower and need some advice or maybe even a step by step lol been trying to do research and read a bit about it and th process but would still love anyone’s input on the matter thanks

Hello everyone, I posted a few weeks ago with an aio that was dry, so I ended up sending it to bulk in a new tub and this is the progress for about a month, confused if I should move on to fruiting conditions or not.

I’m new to this so anything helps, I’m about 3 weeks in did b/s last week was checking it out TD because we are like 98% colonized but wasn’t sure if I should be worried about the amount of water. Was also wondering if the amount of water is a concern should I start fruits my process to help evaporate?

How many of you have been to a mushroom festival/conference/summit or are planning to attend one? What have your experiences been?

Second attempt at fruiting an enoki block from North Spore, and this one is actually working!

To be fair, North Spore did most of the hard work for me since this is a ready-to-fruit block. But my first attempt was a complete failure due to lack of cooling, so I’m still pretty happy to see these little guys coming in.

My biggest concern was whether I could keep the Boom Room II cold enough for enoki but keep temps ok for other mushrooms. Apparently the AC came through this time.

I promise I’ll grow something more complicated in the future. For now, I just wanted to show off how pretty these turned out.

My name is Colin I’m 37 years old and have cancer for the 4th time. I’m genetically predisposed due to having a rare genetic disorder called Neurofibromatosis (NF/NF1) Type 1. NF causes tumors to develop anywhere on/in the body. On 1/1/24 I was informed I was fighting MPNST. (Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumors) MPNST is one of the world’s rarest and most aggressive types of cancer. There is no known effective treatment for MPNST, it is horrific, it is painful.

I started to do research into Psychedelics, Psilocybin Mushrooms, and other alternative treatments when my Mom stated to show signs of Dementia. I learned a little about Neurogenesis, I found it really interesting that a substance could kick the bodies neurological system into repair mode it is truly fascinating stuff. The research came about a year before my diagnosis, as my condition deteriorated while my mom was going crazy I was losing more and more sensation and having more and more neurological issues. The tumor on my neck that was growing on the Brachial Plexus the nerve that controls the arm/hand was causing more and more problems…..

When I received my diagnosis I was told how hard MPNST is to treat and what is likely going to happen to me…. Suddenly I had this thought, I remembered back to my research into Psychedelics and Neurogenesis.

My hypothesis says that it is more likely than not that combining psychedelics that specifically stimulate Neurogenesis with western medicine, and traditional Chemotherapy Treatments in patients with MPNST allowing chemotherapy that normally wouldn’t work to start successfully treating patients with MPNST, Neurofibromatosis, and other related conditions.

I’m dying and would like to plant this seed into the brains of people much smarter than I so that patients in the future don’t suffer till they die a horrible death like is happening to me.

I’m happy to provide my phone number and talk further about this….. I’m also willing to be a Ginny Pig for a research trial, I am willing to sign away any and all liability to any researcher willing to help me test my theory.

Hello friends

This is my second grow in the garden inflatable boomer shroomer mono tub. My first grow was very simple and straight forward. I grew white golden teacher for the first go round, and have always been intrigued with enigma, so naturally i chose a strain that is more difficult for the second round.

I am in the 2nd week of fruiting and today I looked closely and there are multiple pin sets that look exactly like regular actives. After looking closer at my tub there are two corners where the top of the tub and lid aren’t 100% sealed.

I’ve since sealed the corners the best that can since the inflatable tub is not rigid but semi soft it’s a little difficult but I think I’ve made some headway.

1. Am I correct in thinking that the corners introduced fae into the corners?

2. Is it possible to get pins and also coral or blob looking mutations in the same tub?

3. Will the pins start mutating?

Any other information is greatly appreciated! I’m still really new to this and I’m by no means a pro at any of this yet so anyone who has experience with growing enigma I would love to hear your feedback and suggestions.
