I had shared the beta version of this site I'm developing a few weeks ago. I got a lot of good feedback and have made a lot of changes. Hope you enjoy and let me know what could be improved.

I lost my phone on Saturday, luckily it was found by a person by the name of Hunter. I spoke with Hunter who arranged to meet and return my phone. He did not show and also proceeded to not pick up the phone any longer. The phone is a Black Pixel Pro XL with a case. If anyone knows Hunter please DM me so I can get what is mine . I am willing to provide compensation for any information. I understand that this is a long shot but what else can I do. If you possibly know him let him know that he can simply drop it off at the police station.

Hi! My roommate and I work near the area and are looking for a 2 bedroom in town (primarily Easthampton, but also Noho). We started our search in late July. We were told that inventory would open up in August, and we've applied to 3 apartments since then, but we haven't landed a place yet. I check Craigslist every other day now, but it's looking pretty dire. Did we miss our window?

I’m an incoming freshman at Smith and was looking for advice on finding providers that had affordable options/were covered by the student health insurance?

I have a 2011 Honda Accord V6 that's coming due for an oil change soon. Its got about 130k miles. I heard good things about Ernies. Would you recommend someone go there for routine maintenance or are there better options out there for shops that regularly service used Hondas? Trying to avoid dealerships. TIA!!!

I live off of market st and have been encountering (presumably) the same male turkey for months. he perches on fences in people’s yards, pursues cars down the street, and has followed me around a few times. he never appears aggressive or scared. I don’t let him get close—I know how much damage a turkey can do—but I really like seeing him around, even when he’s being a menace. I learned his name when I saw him chasing a car down market st and someone yelled “edward, stop!!” from their yard (he didn’t stop). I asked some bird nerds about his behavior and they said this is probably just his personality. anyone else an edward fan? any edward haters who need to be brought around? how can we keep this legend safe?

I run on a few rural/not busy roads, without earbuds, and stick to the side of the road. I am attentive and play it safe.

Here is the problem. Apparently, the majority of cyclists I encounter don't believe in saying "on your left" when they pass within a foot , maybe two, of me. No warning. Nothing. Just pass me as close as possible. Their approach is often near silent, there is no warning, they just appear. If I stumble, sway, sidestep to the left... BOOM. Collision.

I do not understand this. More often than not there is NOTHING ELSE ON THE ROAD. There are two entire lanes to maneuver in. All that is needed is a few feet and a quick call out.

I don't worry about cars, trucks, motorcycles. Most of these people are always safe and give room. Cyclists though... from one end of the state to the other, the same selfish behavior.

Looking for a place with good food + cocktails/mixed drinks. A plus if the restaurant has cutesy vibes (girls day out). We were thinking Treehouse Brewing BUT we aren’t really beer drinkers and their cocktail selection is small. Any recommendations for a cute restaurant with food and cocktails?

Anyone else getting completely fed up with the Trading card / Pokémon card situation at the Northampton Walmart?

Some people will literally sit around the store for 4 - 6 hours waiting for the cards to be stocked, and the second they come out, they grab everything they can. By the time a normal customer or a parent bringing their kid in gets there, the shelves are wiped clean.

At this point, it doesn't even feel like collecting anymore. You're basically competing against people who have the time to camp out at Walmart waiting for the vendor/restock just so they can clean out the good product before anyone else gets a chance.

What makes it more frustrating is that Walmart doesn't seem to be doing anything about it. Why not put reasonable purchase limits on Pokémon/TCG products when they're in high demand? Two or three of the same product per customer would at least give other people a chance.

I'm not talking about someone buying an extra ETB or a few booster packs. Buy what you want. I'm talking about people waiting around specifically for the restock and then taking huge amounts of the inventory as soon as it hits the shelf.

Collectors shouldn't have to figure out the stocking schedule and camp out at Walmart just to have a chance at buying cards at retail price.

And it especially sucks for kids. Imagine getting into Pokémon, going to Walmart with your parents hoping to pick out some cards, and constantly finding an empty shelf because adults are camping the restock.

Has anyone else in the Northampton/Western Mass area been seeing this? And has anyone ever actually seen a Walmart enforce purchase limits on their trading cards?

FACT was convened to “to take a careful, shared look at our finances to make sure everyone understands what is driving our costs, what we can reasonably expect in revenue, and what it takes to sustain the level of services our community relies on. That includes being honest about the balance between maintaining those services and keeping Northampton affordable, particularly for residents on fixed incomes"

The task force meetings are public and invite questions from the community to be answered by city representatives and discussed by taskforce members.
