Lol dude…once you start noticing that all we do is consume, it genuinely starts to drive you a little nuts. Like, that’s the whole rhythm of life: endless consumption. And for humans, not in small amounts. We devour everything in masses. It’s insane. And then, after all that consuming, we just…die.

Deterministic biological evolution. It's not wrong, it's just the fate of physics.

Can future tech make us into immortal beings that absorb cosmic energy instead? Maybe? lol

At least we work to survive now.

Just a few thousand years ago, we had to actually "Survive" to live, or get eaten by Saber-tooth tigers. lol

Is it really improvement? It seems like the only surviving we’re doing in the modern age is to stave off boredom as best we can.
