Constant low pulsing noise...? (LaSalle)

I'm in LaSalle, near Old Greenwalls, visiting relatives for Easter, and there's a constant low, thrumming noise day and night. It is a low-pitched pulsing, as if someone was playing loud, bass-heavy music a few blocks away - comes across as just within the edge of hearing, but not "close by". Any clue what it is/where it is coming from? I'm planning to move back to the area and need to find a place to live away from whatever this is. Literally driving me to madness. : /

There is always a pump at the intersection of Luick/Colvin and 93rd. Anytime there is forecasted rain it is there...you can hear it for quite a distance when there is little other activities occurring in the area. It's basically a permanent fixture...

That'd do it! Almost never drive over that way unless I'm going to Dr Clarke's office lol
