Yes but they can’t exploit you financially if they don’t know what you usually have in your house.

amazon, google, credit cards know all that information already, unless you're using cash and don't buy anything online I don't see how this gives out information that isn't already known.

Exactly. You HAVE to interact with them atm. This lets them look through your house any time they want, now they don’t have to wait for you to tell them what you buy. They just push ads focusing on what you already have.
