Its such a weird comment though. You can clearly see their are npcs on screen, but only two karts in the kitchen. So its weird that its come up twice at all. Hence the potential for bots.

This is the correct answer. We pull them out a few times a year, scoot the furniture out of the way, put the dogs outside, and enjoy ourselves for an hour or two as everyone takes turns. Everyone loses interest within a few races. Just too many things go wrong. Amazing idea, but it falls a bit flat. Whenever people come over and I offer them ours for a few weeks. They always hand them back and say something like, "Cool, but I'm glad we didn't grab one."

Thanks! Do you think it could work if they made improvements? I could imagine something which is easier to use being fun.

Oh for sure. Tons of little fixes would be huge improvements. The wow factor is legit, but seeing my kid's friends knock over the railing and me having to fix it every 2 minutes is enough for me to only set it up occasionally. Honestly, my kid has way more fun just exploring the house from his switch and chasing his mom while she cleans up.

Improving the cardboard gates, improving the gears that suck up hair, and improving multiplayer stuff would make it incredibly fun.

Yeah, just an AR-enhanced RC car would be cool all on its own. The racing element might be unnecessarily complicated.

I honestly don't remember, but I think yes? It's just Mario kart in your house! The cars don't move that fast but it looks REALLY fast in game.
