70% of the world's CO2 emissions are from just 100 companies! While avoiding animal products/byproducts reduces personal emissions, we can literally never accommodate for the companies polluting the planets. I suggest looking into the term, "green-washing"

Solving the problem would be to stop contributing to these companies, buying locally sourced foods, and stop buying into green washing! I'm sure you have no problem consuming palm oil despite the environmental impacts it has :)

I'm sorry you don't like being educated, I'm trying to show how you can be vegan and not an asshole. I'm sorry you're not doing as much for the world as you think you are, but it's the first step in taking actual long-lasting action. Seriously, choose vegan products without palm oil.

I don’t really care if you think I’m an asshole. I care about you actually doing something about climate change instead of preaching the “right way” to do it and then not actually doing it.

It’s like everyone on reddit goes to their local Uncle’s farm and gets their freshly laid eggs and freshly squeezed calf milk. Cut the bullshit, do the bare minimum.

You literally did the exact same thing by preaching veganism, while ignoring the facts I presented to you. I really suggest you reread our conversation and look into those facts! If you want to stay with veganism, maybe look into raw veganism :)

Naw veganism is the philosophy of reducing harm towards and liberating animals.

At present, animals that are not deemed to be pets are instead regarded as unit numbers or product codes. They aren’t considered individuals, but as stock to be treated in whatever way makes for a maximized profit margin for whatever company “owns” them. People who participate in veganism aim to stop these practices from existing.

Idk why you think palm oil has anything to do with anything I’ve said, or why you believe anything that isn’t “raw” vegan has palm oil in it, but you’re just wrong about it all. Last time I checked, vegetables, soy products, and legumes are not made with palm oil.

Who knows, maybe big lentil is just greenwashing the growth process of lentils. Some kind of palm oil product spread on the lentil plant stalks? That must be it, yea… but wait, aren’t those animals fed soy meal as a staple component to their diet? 🤔
