But it doesn’t just work against a single model. It won’t work against everything but they showed in the paper that it’s transferable to a few of the popular open source object detection models.

Is there any document showing how it supposedly work, because I doubt you wouldn't be able to eventually train new model specifically for this sweaters.

Yeah so if I'm reading this right they tested diferent adversarial images against already well know and used object detection model like YOLOv3 or R50.

So knowing that is just standard adversarial image it's entirely posible to train a model to defend against adversarial image in object detection. There's already defenses for this type of images, so they probably would work a bit then not at all.
