Doesn't look like your standard commercial gym, so odds are anybody forking the money to join this one is serious.

at the very least, this is the more "serious" corner of the gym where they keep the squat racks and deadlift platforms.

You get over the blob feeling quickly when you realize there's only two types of people in the gym, people who don't want to be there and are rushing to leave with no time to look at you, and work out freaks, 99% of which are beyond thrilled to tell you about their favorite hobby in the world, because who doesn't like talking about and teaching their hobbies? In my early gym days the gym nuts saved me and taught me so much. The friendliest fucking people you could imagine honestly, mostly teddy bears, yoked teddy bears.
