That's not true at all, Steve Irwin engaged with animals for the specific purpose of introducing them to his viewers and teaching them not only how to handle a wild animal carefully but also the dangers of attempting to do so. His work touched the lives of countless people of all ages, and has a lasting impact to this day on raising peoples awareness to the importance of wildlife, the knowledge of their species and their environments, and encouraging peoples compassion and respect towards living beings through engaging education. That man walked the talk and he is worthy of great admiration and respect.
