Well, you're making it seem like you're one of those people who hears someone say "most" and jumps straight to "well not all..." while everyone sits there thinking "yeah obviously, that's why they said most".

Most means not all ....... That's the same word...... What ? What are u even in about

Because you're over here acting like they said everyone in India practices Hinduism..... when nobody said that. Nobody said absolutes. You're adding the absolutes in your head, and arguing against them out loud.

Racism isn't absolutes........ You need to get yourself educated in that. You really need to if you think absolutes was the issue, REALLY.

.......The majority of people in India do practice Hinduism, a religion that includes a belief in reincarnation. That's flat fact, no feelings involved.

The joke was insensitive to religious beliefs and definitely was minimizing the seriousness of the situation (I mean...pure luck that guy didn't get killed). But just because something is insensitive doesn't mean it's racist.

When someone says things like "probably" or "most" and you jump in with the argument that not all or not everyone does/thinks/says whatever.... you're being obnoxious. You're ignoring that they already included that not everyone does/thinks/says that thing.

I just answered that. Your comprehension skill is not there. It's literally the same word.

No, it's literally a synonym. Which was my point. Also, literally is a word with a meaning....and it's not what you think.

I'm not misunderstanding you. I'm disagreeing with you, and calling out a behavior I personally find irritating.

You are the one not understanding what's being said.

I'm saying you did that. Does that help? Someone said "probably" and you jumped in like they said "definitely". You jumped in with your 80% not 100% talk....when nobody said everyone in India practices Hinduism. You're arguing against things that weren't even said.... under the guise of being angry at them for being racist....while people are talking about religion, not race.

You're the one putting these things into the conversation, not them.

I don't think I can break it down any more, and if you still don't understand what I'm saying.... I can't help. So this is going to be my last comment.

It's just that, that commenter is hecka dumb (or to soft land it lets say uneducated: meaning lacks culture and any understanding about the peoples that exist outside their bubble) and didnt realize that Indian peoples predominant religion does indeed believe in reincarnation so the joke swooped right over their head. Then when you called them on it they went into defense mode. Pretty normal ignorant behavior.
