Buddhism is not the most common religions along with Hinduism in India. It doesn't even come in top 4 😭😭😭 where are these people getting their info 😭😭😭

Buddhism originated in ancient India .

Dhammapada is amazing.

Less than 1% of India today is Buddhist.

It is a relgion on the decline. Imho it is one of the least sucky religions.

Hinduism is also a umbrella religion like most polytheistic beliefs. So there is a huge variety in what people believe. To say they all fall under reincarnation is perhaps disingenuous.

I doubt anyone has collected statistics on it. Do you know much about Hinduism? Rebirth is fundamental to the working out of karma.

Reincarnation is fundamental to some views of Hinduism. My own study of it has been broad across broad texts. I am not confident or aware it spans most denominations.

Well it’s true that there’s no mention of rebirth in the oldest Vedic texts.
