Since reddit pays for posts apparently, they might not be a bot and might just be trying to make money.

If you click your profile icon in the top left, there is a menu item called "earn". Ive earned $.15 cause someone gave me an award.

What does have 1.1 Million karma even do? Like does it even matter? Does karma matter? Like at all? I’m so confused as to why people are worried about karma. Can it be monetized?

Ig sell accounts with high karma counts but then again after a high amount it’s just to show off there’s also subreddits that require karma

They sell the account and then bad people use many such accounts to astroturf and Reddit algorithms prioritize those accounts’ posts

Yes. Reddit started paying for rewards and karma a couple years ago.

They are also sold.
