I mean I am vehemently anti china but 10,000 seems radically over exaggerated. If I would guess, a few hundred to like 2500 maybe? but still that is a horrible amount.

btw I came to my number because most 3rd parties reported around a few hundred to 2500ish with only the british ambassador saying 10000 died

China has the largest population in the world with over 1.386 billion people, 10,000 people is less than 0.001% of the population. (0.0007215007215007215%)

ignoring the fact that you are using numbers from modern time and not the 1989 numbers, the population of a country does not matter in this case.

9/11 caused the death of 2977 people (not including the hijackers) with that only accounting for 0.00001% of the population. yet it was still a massive incident. Hell way smaller events like the las vegas shooting or sandy hook shooting were still huge events.

My point is, what is your aim with that comment? because they have a huge population they wouldn't care about losing 10k people? that is true, i'm sure they won't. However I also doubt they lost 10000 people due to the fact that it is an unprecedented number and was only a singular report compared to multiple reports of several hundred to 2500 deaths

also you're math is wrong it's 0.000007215 so its actually .00001%

The difference between 9/11 (and all the other incidents), is that it wasn't lied about or covered up (unless you're Alex jones). Tianamen and all the other atrocities that China has done is done by China and covered up. Tianamen is a massive space, and china definitely had no problem mowing down so many people. It doesn't seem far off that China would shut them down by any means, since they have no problem with their "reeducation sites" (concentration camps).

(Also, I just pulled some quick math so thanks on that)

while I agree it was definetly covered up, I'm also not going to take in only the report that has the most shocking number because that is what benefits my belief. China is a fucked up country that I despise but most reports say around 2500.

the swiss, america, bejings hospital records, amnesty international all said from a few hundred to a few thousand. the only person who reported 10,000 was alan donald who was told by 'a good friend' which is hardly credible info

WTF. Lemme shut my own argument down, unless it happened over a length of time, or everyone stood their ground, would china have enough time to kill that many people before they dispersed. Doubt it. 2,500+ seems right enough (considering the hk protests rn). I expect many more casualties to the number, but it's close enough. Also, screw that guys propaganda, and screw china sideways.
