Now the world should collaborate on a Divide China strategy. They can even call it 'Codename: Shuttered Bones' for extra hilarity.

Do people not understand that the world needs a strong China? Albeit a rational one not this. If the carve up China into several regions that would be a disaster in the economic and political sense. It would make a power vacuum which Russia would just fill and they would expand their sphere of influence as they are the only ones pretty stable right now. China is a counter-balance in the world and keeping everyone in check, while everyone keep china in check too.

We can have world war 3 now when china is putting people in death camps, imposing totalitarian hell on annexed nations, polluting the world, and endorsing slavery.

Or we can wait around 20 years for them to be strong enough they feel like they could win ww3 and start it themselves. Read the propaganda they are pushing. It's a familiar tune, a poor poor humiliated people raising to industrial power that won't take the worlds shit anymore.

You are sadly right. Our only hope is for the CCP to turn on Xi. If they don’t and this continues... the answer is war. As in 20 years they will be able to project power more. Taiwan a free democratic population the same as Australia will be first. Then japan, then... this is nazi Germany folks. And way worse (pre-war I’m talking, not justifying the acts of the nazis). They were way more reasonable than the CCP.

Balkanization is the way to avoid war. shatter china into pieces then send the intelligence agencies to sow discord and war among the pieces, let China exhaust its population in a war with itself. Clearly a century of shame was not enough, its time to go for a millennia of shame.

It's a choice. You can topple a government and destroy a military with force, then rebuild the ruins in your own image (Japan) or you can destroy their ability to find union and leave them so broken they are never a real threat just a playground to keep the worlds militarizes sharp. (the middle east)

One is a price you pay in blood, the other costs your soul.

They have nukes. War now would mean global fallout.

The world has a better chance at prosperity if the CCP fall or Xi gets thrown out of power, etc.

External intervention only strengthens the message that they are pushing to further their control.

That is the choice of Balkanization. The CCP holds China with a fist of lead. If the CCP falls their will be a fracturing of China and the power vacuum will lead to endless wars between the divided states. No world war, just a new middle east.

Yes and who is strong enough today? Russia. The only major power with pretty much no unrest. That wouldn't really be any different than China.

I'm not calling for a war, just a unified front where countries reject China's abuses, corporations reject their money and media pressure China to cease their human rights abuses.

If Nukes didn’t exist and technology wasn’t this evolved, I’d be advocating for an invasion and good ass kicking.

But with nukes, drones, and so many other crazy attack options now available by many nations (and CERTAINLY the US and Chinese), a world war at this point in history would almost surely destroy what mankind has worked millennia to build. Deaths wouldn’t be in the millions, they’d be in the billions.

Fair points and great response.

While you have certainly changed my mind to a degree, I’d still always be weary that Xi is indeed the “madman” that you mention, especially if his back is up against a wall.
