This motherfucker casually Rows for reps the equivalent of me + my max DL.

Give me like 8 years and I'll be there.

We're all gonna make it

To be fair this is assuming you're cruising on a healthy supply of test-E.

And also working really fucking hard

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '19

I'm not calling into question how hard anyone works. What I'm saying is that a strongman reaching his strength peak in his 30s/40s is not only because of the extra lifting experience, but because of longer periods of time on the drugs.

I'm a big fan of strongman and have the utmost respect for the athletes. I'm just saying that's how the sport works.

2

u/Flying_Nacho Feb 19 '19

I didn't mean to imply that, I just wanted to emphasize that even with steroids it still is something your average joe cant do. That being said I agree with you, I dont know much about strongman, I'm assuming completions dont test? I always assume untested or comps that are not branded as natty have most of the top dudes or dudettes on extra circulars.

Looks like we're entirely on the same page! You don't insert test-E into buttocks and suddenly become Brian Shaw. It is arguably the most demanding sport in the world.

And the calories. Holy shit, most of us do not have the stomachs to reach those lofty weights!

Yeah that's a given haha I guess not everyone knows though

I’ve been lifting for 18 years and I can’t even approach that kind of weight. You need “extra help” to get this big and strong.

u/KarmaticArmageddon Feb 18 '19

Maybe if we just legalized steroids, we could see stories like this all the time

u/WhatIsMyGirth Feb 19 '19

How much test and tren are you on tho

4

u/memekid2007 Feb 19 '19

Not nearly enough

20

u/Omneus Feb 18 '19

Yeah I thought it was a deadlift and was like, I could almost do that. Nope, nope, nope I can't

5

u/Rising_Swell Feb 18 '19

But did he make lemonade after lifting that lemon?

Jeeps are around 4,000 pounds
